This was the worst 3 nights in Madrid. We even ended up checking out a day early due to lack of sleep. They gave us the so room in the hotel. All night long, you could hear all the water sounds - flushes, shower etc from the rooms above. We asked to be moved to a different room everyday and were told the hotel was full while online it showed availability. I am so disappointed with Hyatt.

The service at this hotel is very bad. This is the second time I've had a bad experience here, and probably the last. You're asked to indicate what time you'd like to check in; for instance, you might put 12:00 PM even though the scheduled check-in time is 3:00 PM. But this is not respected at all. Even 3:00 PM is not respected. And you find yourself waiting without any updates in the lobby. The service is clearly not up to Hyatt or five-star standards. And no comment on the room which is noisy…

The hotel staff provided an incredible service. At the moment that they open the dorr, the ckeck in, restaurant, concierge all super froendly and willing to help. The room was clean and quiet. They provided towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Additionally, there was a kettle, tea, coffee, and seasonal fruit provided as a welcome gesture. The hotel is situated on Paseo de la Castellana, within walking distance of the tube and the Serrano shopping area. I enjoyed my stay there.

Phenomenal globalist treatment. We were upgraded to a suite. The food at the club was outstanding (at least from an American perspective where we barely have clubs!). The ambience of the lobby and club were lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only down side is that it's not as central to the big tourist attractions as the other Hyatt locations were. We did walk to an upscale shopping district in/near Salamanca and there were some less popular museums nearby... Metro was super close.

We were lucky enough to to stay here as a part of our trip extension with Viking cruise line. The staff was so helpful and accommodating in every way. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was large, with a great shower and nice toiletries. The best part of our three nights spent there were in the lounge -- our group of six friends spent every evening there and ordered light appetizers and drinks in lieu of dinner two nights after long days of sightseeing. The bartenders were both amazing and attentive, and Eric in particular mixed some great Spanish gin and tonics, bourbon drinks, and sangria. He is an absolute gem! We hope to return some day soon and enjoy the Hyatt hospitality.
